McKinney Performing Arts Center History

McKinney Performing Arts Center opened its doors in 1995, and quickly became a staple of the community. The center features a 650-seat performing arts theater, which regularly hosts Broadway shows and touring dance companies. Over the years, MPAC has become known for its commitment to education and programming. The center sponsors annual performances by local high school drama and music departments, as well as children’s theatre productions. McKinney Performing Arts Center Directions

The McKinney Performing Arts Center is located at 214 W. Temple. Parking can be found in the Temple parking garage or on the street. The theater is accessible through ramps and an elevator. For wheelchair access, the theater provides a lift and a level entrance on the east side of the building.
General admission tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Groups of 10 or more may purchase discounted tickets at group rates of $14 each. The box office is open Monday-Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
