In the Kid’s Zone, you can find exhibits specifically designed for little ones, like the Touch Tank, where they can explore a coral reef or build their volcano in the Construction Zone. If dinosaurs are more your child’s thing, check out the Dinosaurs Alive exhibit. You can also look at our live animal habitats, like the Rainforest and our Aquatic Center, which features a variety of fish and amphibians. For older kids (and even some adults), we have plenty of hands-on exhibits like our Engineering Lab and How Things Work area. Planet Earth

Planet Earth is the third planet from the sun and the only one to harbor life. The planet’s surface is covered in water, land, ice, and clouds. The climate on Earth ranges from tropical to subarctic. There are mountains, hills, and valleys. The continents are divided into North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Antarctica. The oceans cover more than 70% of the planet’s surface. There are several mountain ranges, including the Andes in South America, the Himalayas in Asia, and the Rockies in North America.

The Rainforest

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is home to many exhibits, including a rainforest. The rainforest contains more than 27,000 plants and over 1,000 animal species. It’s one of the most interactive areas in the museum, with visitors able to explore its depths and heights and learn about the plants and animals that call it home.

The Fossil Gallery

The Fossil Gallery at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science is one of the exhibits that visitors will find most interesting. The gallery contains a wide variety of fossils, ranging from small ones just a few inches long to huge ones several feet long.

The exhibit includes both invertebrates and vertebrates, as well as both marine and terrestrial fossils. There is something for everyone in the Fossil Gallery, whether you’re fascinated by prehistoric creatures or want to learn more about the natural history of Texas.
